We are on path of growth and have a vision of PAN India presence. We are currently looking for a dedicated and exceptionally result orientated COO to join and lead our team.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
1. End to End P&L responsibility and align with top management on monthly, quarterly, annual targets and delivering against them
2. Manage and develop the Operations Department of the company, including all raw material sourcing, purchasing, production, inventory, trafficking, quality control, and plant safety and security activities
3. Develop, implement and maintain a long-range strategic plan for the department based on company's vision and mission
4. Develop, implement and maintain an annual business plan and budget for the department based on department needs and overall company objectives and direction
5. Design and implement various marketing initiatives, strategic tie-ups and alliance with corporate/institutional customers that help further company's strategic plans and objectives
6. Oversee development, implementation and maintenance of and compliance to, department procedures and policies, and ensure that adequate procedures and policies are in place to ensure the safe, effective and efficient operation of the company
7. Oversee and manage long-range staffing needs, including hiring, firing, training, motivating and review of department personnel
8. Develop, implement and participate in feedback loops between/among all departments, including regular departmental and inter-departmental meetings, where beneficial
9. Work with management team to coordinate and implement company functions and plans, and be aware of interdepartmental needs
10. Ensure the successful implementation and coordination of all department activities and plans based on overall company objectives
11. Assist in the development of strong short and long-term customer relationships
12. Responsible for ensuring optimal customer experience
13. Maintain membership and active participation in all trade and professional associations that benefit the company and employee, respectively
14. Represent and serve company's best interests at all such association meetings and conferences
15. Ensure the safety, security and accountancy of all company personnel, facilities, equipment and operations in line with all federal, state, county and local regulatory agencies, including FSSAI, or any other aspect of general safety
16. Oversee product quality and ensure customer satisfaction with regards to the quality of the company's products
17. Oversee product inventories of finished product, raw materials and manufacturing supplies
18. Ensure that sufficient supplies of inventory are maintained at all times to fulfil customer and manufacturing requirements, while placing the least amount of burden on company's cash flow
19. Work with Finance Department to prepare and deliver on a timely basis to the BOARD and management staff a monthly product inventory and purchase report in a form and format acceptable to the BOARD
20. Keep accurate amount of inventory on order and estimated delivery date
21. Review product sales, inventory and purchase projections with the sales and financial managers on a bi-weekly basis, and obtain the sales and financial managers written approval of said purchase projections
22. Review product sales, inventory and purchase orders with the production and traffic supervisors on a frequent basis to ensure that adequate levels of inventory will be available to fulfil all customer requirements
23. Notify the BOARD if inventory levels fall, or are anticipated to fall, below adequate customer service levels
24. Oversee all purchasing activities of the company, including ordering, shipping, receiving and processing of all goods and services
25. Ensure satisfactory, economic and timely fulfilment of all finished product, raw materials, manufacturing supplies and quality control services required by the company, and take appropriate measures to correct any unsatisfactory or untimely finished product, raw materials, manufacturing supplies and quality control services received by the company
26. Oversee all production activities of company, including product manufacturing, process development and quality control
27. Ensure that a steady flow of product is maintained at all times in order to meet company inventory requirements
28. Oversee all shipping activities of the company to ensure timely and satisfactory fulfilment of all customer orders
29. Ensure that all customer orders are shipped by the most cost effective means available, using carriers that offer the best possible service at the best possible price
30. Oversee all receiving activities of the company
31. Ensure that all goods and services received by the company are shipped by the most expedient and cost effective means available using carriers that offer the best possible service at the best possible price, and that all goods and services received by the company are verified prior to payment and are received in satisfactory condition prior to acceptance
32. Ensure the safety and security of all manufacturing and warehouse operations, in line with OSHA requirements and common sense
33. Ensure that all manufacturing and warehouse operations are maintained in a clean and tidy manner at all times
34. Ensure sufficient supplies and equipment are available at all times to meet company's production and inventory requirements, and all said equipment is maintained in good operating condition
35. Manage all quality control trafficking operations of the company, including the quarantine, sampling and disposition of all products
36. Ensure that all product released for sale is placed in inventory and that all rejected product is returned to the appropriate supplier or properly disposed of
37. Oversee Quality Assurance and Product Testing methodologies, practices and procedures to ensure that all products released for sale by company is of the highest quality possible and meet all product standards and specifications established by the company
38. Ensure reporting of all quality control problems, including the course of action to be taken and anticipated resolution date of all significant quality control problems to the BOARD and management staff on a frequent and regular basis
39. Review of all product quality control test results, the assurance that all product passes quality control inspection and testing prior to release for sale, and the approval in writing of all certificates of analysis of product released for sale
40. Trouble-shoot all quality control problems to a speedy and satisfactory resolution
41. Reject all product that fails to meet company's quality control standards that is not covered by a manufacturing variance exception report, and approval in writing of all manufacturing variance exception reports
42. Ensure that all quality control laboratories used by the company, as well as all customer and vendor relations with regard to product quality control issues
43. Periodical review of all quality control laboratory services to ensure that the company is receiving an acceptable level of service at competitive prices, and periodical comparison of current laboratory services with competitive services that are available
44. Maintain a department procedures and policies manual
45. Develop new procedures and policies that will help improve the operating safety and efficiencies of the department
46. Manage department records, including manufacturing, quality control, inventory and all other department files, records and documents
47. Ensure accuracy, completeness, confidentiality and security of all said department files, records and documents
48. Marketing development: Developing new products and line extensions Researching, developing, executing and managing products, acquisitions, licensing, etc
49. Building high performing team and lead the recruitment of key positions. Set clear expectations and goals for key roles and maintain fairness and transparency in performance evaluation
50. Development and implementation of direct marketing programs to increase revenue for existing and new products
51. To raise the levels of: Customer acquisition and retention, Cross/up - selling, Product pricing, Lead generation/new business development, Segmentation strategies
QUALIFICATIONS AND DESIRED SKILLS:
1. Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)
2. Education: MBA from Leading institutes
3. Preference will be given to people who have recent experience in manufacturing & operations management
