- Understanding the business drivers, pain points and participating in conceptualizing and functional design of solutions
- Interact directly with the Business and/or the onshore project team members depending on the project team structure
- Create and own documentation of requirements, functional solution and its design
- Delivers informative, well-organized presentations.
- Ability to understand Business requirements, expectations and breakdown the same to the concerned teams.
- Experience in Risk analysis to identify the critical & high risk areas of business application.
- Worked on business processes using MS-Visio, performed As-Is analysis and created To-Be processes (GAP Analysis Technique).
- A good understanding of SDLC and website / application development process is a must
- Knowledge of UML and other modeling languages is a plus.
- Experience in Creating SRS and requirement documentation for software / website development
- Manage scope change requests against the signed off documents
- Ensure design, build and delivery of a robust, complete and successful solution to the Business thru the following
- Act as the Business proxy to the development and testing team - ensure that a clear understanding on project requirements is gained by the development team use cases, ERDs, wire frames, detailed functional specifications
- Review the test strategy, planning
- Participate in development of the Test Suite, test scenarios, test cases
- Own the Requirements Traceability Matrix for the project create it and ensure that it is filled and completed by other team members
- Own and drive the User Acceptance Testing with the Business team
No. of years of experience : 2-3 years of relevant experience in the role of Business Analyst
Technical Skills( required) :
- Must be able to create high quality documents, presentations ; diagramming, writing skills are essential
- Understanding of various kinds of diagrams and modelling techniques Business process flow, Entity Relationships, Sequence Diagrams, Mind mapping, Flow charts, Decision Tables
- Must have worked on web development projects ; good understanding of relevant technologies and their capabilities/limitations is critical
Education & Experience :
- Two or four year college degree in project management, management of information system, business management or other IT or business related fields. Related experience considered.
- Knowledge of IT solutions, business process analysis, and functional specifications.
- Experience defining and documenting processes and requirements in such a way that both business and technology stakeholders understand.
- Knowledge of project management methodology, workflow-modelling concepts, and related information systems.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with remote teams and to quickly learn the business in unfamiliar areas.
