Job Description :

- The person handling this position would be responsible to handle a team of 4-5 Account Managers to cover the assigned territory in the regional markets for HT Campus, which is the education business division of HT Media Ltd.

Responsibilities :

a) Respond to elevated customer service complaints

b) Prepare presentations, financial projections, and competitive analysis

c) Identify, develop and negotiate business development relationships to grow revenue

d) Generate and achieve monthly and quarterly forecasts

e) On-going development of a sales team including hiring, training, and mentoring

People management:

f) Manage a team of 4-6 employees

Sales Operations:

g) Oversee collections and ageing and take necessary action

h) Plan and implement local sales promotion activities within budget, ensure region compliance

Business Development:

i) Leverage existing relationships; negotiate with prospective partner in order to enhance market penetration and revenues.

j) Identify new and prospective customers, initiate and develop alternative sources of content to increase business. To direct sales to enterprise & mid-market segment across the geographical territory with a focus on a particular product

r) Plan and implement local sales promotion activities within budget, ensure region compliance

Functional Skills :

Sound sales and operations knowledge and experience in the educational portal/financial wealth advisory/Consumer durable.

Competencies :

- Customer Relationship Management and Negotiation Skills

- Analytical skills for analyzing products, customers and market dynamics.

- Focus and ability to achieve competitive revenue targets.

- Ability to prioritize competing demands

- Self Driven and ability to take decisions

Experience :

- Should have at least 5 years of experience in managing a team in the assigned regional area

- Total Experience minimum 7 years

- Banking (financial advisory)/Internet/IT/Telecom, with at least 6 years in managing teams.

Education :

- Full time MBA from Premier B School
