Deputy Manager/Manager - HR for a leading Auto OEM (Backend Operations)

1. Responsible for overseeing the recruitment and mentor the team.

2. Plan, organize, direct and coordinate the recruitment activities like Job Fair.

3. Allocate human resources, ensuring appropriate matches between personnel.

4. Analyze statistical data and reports to identify and determine causes of personnel problems and develop recommendations for improvement of organization's HR policies and practices.

5. Conduct exit interviews to identify reasons for employee separation.

6. Identify staff vacancies and recruit, interview and select applicants both technical and non technical.

7. Maintain records and compile statistical reports concerning HR-related data such as hires, transfers, performance appraisals, and absenteeism rates.

8. Administer disciplinary procedures.

9. Plan and conduct new employee orientation and induction programme to foster positive attitude toward organizational objectives.

10. Plan, direct, supervise, and coordinate work activities of subordinates and employee relations.

11. Prepare manpower forecast to departmental manpower requirements.

12. Provide current and prospective employees with information about policies, job duties, working conditions, wages, and opportunities for promotion and employee benefits.

13. Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering contracts and helping resolve work-related problems.

14. Administer employee recognition awards.

15. Plan, organize, direct and coordinate the Technology training activities of the organization.

16. Analyze training needs of employees in consultation with department heads to design employee training and development programs.

17. Recruit, manage and develop direct-reporting staff.

18. Responsible for the successful implementation, monitoring and coordinating all the activities pertaining to HR Software (Harmony).

19. Preparation and maintenance of MIS related to HR.

20. Administer performance management systems and recreation programs.

21. Establish and maintain appropriate systems for measuring necessary aspects of employee performance.

22. Direct and design a training plan for effective appraisal and the conduct of yearly performance appraisal.

23. Framing of Policies & HR Process and review of the existing HR policies and procedures.
