Designation: Deputy Manager / Manager - Business Finance
Location: Bangalore
Reporting to: Sr. Vice President - Global Business Finance
Brief Job Description
- This individual will be involved in the Company’s financial forecasting, annual budgeting process, business case/pricing preparation & analysis, operating plan variance analysis and special projects.
- S/he will provide financial consulting & Strategic support to the Sr Management, including preparing Board presentations, segment wise business analysis, goodwill impairment analysis, financial presentations, Capex analysis, and other projects.
- This function will act as the analytical engine of the Finance team to provide insight & support optimal business decision making.
Primary Skills:
- Prior Experience in the Business Finance function with an Organisation in the IT / ITES Industry.
- In-depth understanding of the Industry and specialized area of Pricing for Services, developing & implementing the best value based pricing strategies & methodologies, development of business cases.
- Prior experience in having responded to RFP’s, vetting of contracts/ agreements from a Financial perspective, involvement in Contract negotiation with Clients.
- Prepare financial & business related analysis & research and publish reports.
- Prepare consolidated forecasts, analyse trends and variances in Revenues, Expenses, Capex and other related areas.
- Assist with the compilation of budgets, analysis of consolidated budgets & long term plans.
- Assist in the implementation of Special Projects, Financial / Business related studies which would require interaction/cooperation with other Functions.
- High level of comprehension, fluency in communication both written & verbal.
- High level of Computer proficiency: particularly MS Excel, SAP, BPC tool/s.
Secondary Skills:
- Coordination with Legal, Accounting, Taxation, Technology, Operations, Front Office (Sales/Marketing), CQA, BI and other functions based on the requirements of the deal.
- Strong Organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills.
- Demonstrated adaptability to a changing work environment.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Experience of implementation/budgeting & planning in a BPC tool environment.
- Accounting experience in an ERP environment, preferably SAP.
Experience and Qualification:
- 3 to 5+ years of experience in Business Finance (FP&A, Pricing/Costing, Forecasting & Budgeting)
- 2+ years of management/supervisory experience, leading a group of at least 3 FP& A professionals.
- CA / ICWA / MBA (Finance) from Premier Institutes / B - Schools.
