Ground Lease Manager Analyst - DM

Key Job Responsibilities:

- Control, analyze and account-for the economic transactions of group companies generating the necessary records related to accounting for such transactions in compliance with applicable standards and policies

- Execute the operational activities for Ground Rent including but not limited to validation and review of leases/documents and Invoice generation of multiple markets around the globe

- Prepare reports and financial presentations by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing financial information

- Perform administration of all master data (landlords, leases, suppliers, fixed assets, etc.) in Oracle Fin

- Perform monthly financial close activities, which include preparation of accruals, performing reconciliations, booking journal entries, and maintaining internal control documentation

- Attend to the requirements of internal and external audits in accordance with local accounting, US GAAP, IFRS and SOX guidelines

- Operate the data governance process for the markets served by the service center, ensuring that internal information controls are complied with by clients and information requestors

- Support service center managers in preparing ad-hoc analysis

- Execute processes in line with documented SLA's

- Contribute towards the implementing process improvements to enable standardization of accounting functions within the service center

- Support implementation of system and process enhancements to drive efficiencies and scalability

- Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in commerce is required.

- Qualified CIMA / CA or CA Intermediate would be preferred.

- Minimum of 4-6 years of accounting and supervisory experience preferred.

- Experience in the use of excel for data manipulation & analytics is required.

- Knowledge in the usage of large-scale ERP and reporting systems to support financial transactions is preferred.

- Ability to complete assigned tasks with minimal direction and supervision.

- Knowledge of finance & data analysis from an operational perspective is required and experience in Property Manager or New Lease Accounting would be preferred

- Accounting process experience within a shared service and / or commercial real estate environment preferred.

- Strong understanding of end-to-end business process executioner experience in a shared services environment preferred.

- As our GBS centers will typically provide business support across country boundaries, the Analyst should have excellent English communication skills (both oral and written) and will be adept at managing across cultural boundaries where English may not be the native language of customer teams

- Approximately 20% travel may be required in support of the position's responsibilities.
