Position Description :
BD Spectrum : Corporate tie-ups, CSR/NGOs, Corporate gifting, Strategic alliances for long-term partnership, Others as may be applicable
Geographical Scope : Across the spectrum for a particular region (South India, North & East India, West India)
Locations : Gurgaon (HO), Mumbai, Bangalore (3 openings)
Planning & Lead Generation :
Building leads database :
- Through industry directories, trade magazines & other databases
- Internet & business research
- Networking - industry events, conferences, social networking
Other methodologies :
- Market research, competitor intelligence and trend monitoring
- Understanding existing markets & customers to build knowledge base
- Development of BD collaterals
- Development of innovative USPs for potential customers
- Working towards agreed sales/BD target
Lead Management & Qualification :
- Qualification of leads as per BANT model
- Prioritization of leads according to qualification level
- Building and development of leads pipeline with levels of visibility
- Usage of manual/automated CRM systems to manage & track BD activities
Lead Pursuit :
- Cold calls, warm calls, referrals etc.
- Understanding exact customer needs and constraints
- Preparing relevant pitch-notes, presentation and proposals
- Customer office & site visits
- Company, product & proposition presentation/demo to various stakeholders
- Follow ups and customer support (queries, data etc.)
- Negotiation, up-sell/cross-sell
- Deal closure and PO generation to achieve agreed sales targets
Post-Sales :
Post-sales SPOC :
- Back-end coordination with HO/Field
- Maintaining ongoing relationship for repeat orders/cross-sell/up-sell
- Impact assessment and report generation for customers
- Documentation of activities in the entire customer life-cycle
- Customer ROI analysis for review and constant improvement
Training & Development :
- Supporting training function in developing content for BD training
- Training, workshops & induction for other functions/new joinees
