Assistant Manager - Accounts position will be responsible for providing day-to-day operational review of company's accounting operations and financial reporting activities and should provide insights to the financial decision making process in the organization through analysis and critical reporting. This position interacts with all teams across company including business, operations & support functions and is able to work independently with minimum supervision. This needs communication with others in a wide range of positions internal and external to the organization to understand and gather qualitative and quantitative information on factors affecting the financial performance of the organization. The position reports directly to Manager, Global Finance Team and is based in Gurgaon. This position will be a key member of the Finance & Accounts Team. Key Responsibilities:- - Responsible for accounting processes and functions including timely and accurate recording and reporting of all financial transactions and system reconciliations for Mauritius entity. - Assuring proper revenue recognition of complex multi-element contracts. - Driving a timely monthly close process, quarterly reviews and annual audits for Mauritius entity. - Preparing IFRS, US GAAP consolidated financial statements and non-GAAP supplementary reports. - Coordination with Regional finance teams on all aspects of F&A. - Understanding of Transfer pricing regulations. - Payroll and tax compliances. Successful Candidate Profile:- - Chartered Accountant with at least 3 to 5 years of post-qualification experience - Experience in a fast growing start up environment with a US Company exposure desirable, particularly in a SOX-controlled environment - Hands-on experience with implementation and optimization of an ERP system, Net Suite experience is a plus. - Superior knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, SEC reporting and compliance is essential. - Demonstrates excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills.
