Job Summary

- Ensure effective implementation of ISO / TS 16949, ISO 14001, OHSAS 1800.

- Coordinate for internal and external audits for improving effectiveness of the quality systems.

- Systematically Plan Product, Process and System Audits.

- Execute Planned Audits and revisit plans based on actual non-conformities.

- Assess the criticality of violation and as appropriate stop processing or specific SFG, stop despatch of Finished Goods, Stop Production and / or escalate to top management.

- Identify Critical parameters of product and process performance.

- Track the capability of these parameters and suggest improvement priorities.

- Coordination and Analysis from Customer Feedback and communication of the same to all concerns.

- Coordinate implementation of Quality Improvement Projects (Customer complaints, field failures, process deviations etc.)

- Establish linkage/correlation among various parameters for establishing better control.

- Track Customer related Processes and ensure compliance.

- He ensures discipline, safety standards, housekeeping being maintained and communicates to concern in case of deviation and follows the specified procedure for the same.

- Bring about process improvement by interfacing with Corporate Functions / Production/ Technology/ Engineering departments to solve problems on the shop floor or at the customer end.

- Ensure outsourced units, suppliers and other stakeholders adhere to the quality parameters

- To be responsible for ensuring environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) related aspects in the section. Should act as a respondent to all EHS-related matters of the department. Take ownership in case of any emergency/disaster as per the Emergency Preparedness Plan / Disaster Mgt. Plan.

- Continuation of quality, environment, OHS and other certifications.

- Quality Audit Schedule Adherence.

- Reduce Customer Complaints on Product Quality.

- Improve Process Capability of key parameters Accident.
