Divisional/Regional Sales Manager - Retail/Paints
This position is would be primarily accountable for regional sales & profitability goals. The role is to provide direction and leadership to the regional team while responsible for customer satisfaction and gaining market share within the regional geography.

Direct reports:- ASM, ASE

Qualification:-Post graduate qualification in business administration with experience of sales
Job Responsibility:-
Revenue/Business:
- Achieve business targets & plan for growth for next year (Market Share Gain & Profitability)
- Deliver the Volume and Revenue as per budget from the sales operations maintaining favorable product mix
- Establish new product launches, net reach and market segmentation
Market & Distribution:
- Management and expansion of channel
- Address dealer grievances in time
- Opening counters of strategic objective
- Execution of sales strategy - effective partner selection & distribution expansion
- Ensure range selling & availability of all SKUs at dealers shop
- Unrepresented town reach (expansion and focus), ensure proper market coverage
- Gather information on competition activities & sensitize the management
- Interact with key influencers and maintain relationships
Developing People
- Selection of the right candidates (ASMs & Frontliners) & ensuring retention
- Coaching/guiding/motivating the team for high performance
- Induction of the ASMs, monitoring & evaluation of performance, providing feedback, removing obstacles & developing successors for self & ASMs
Finance :
- Effectively manage credit in the market i.e. Credit Limits, Overdue, Bad Debts and Cheque Bouncing
- Build capability of the retail sales team to deliver the key commercial excellence
- Control accounting and audit related queries of the region
- Improve sales/cost ratio and work as a profit center
- Ensuring payments, settlement of all claims
- Implement channel schemes within given parameters and ensure control measures
Systems-
- Drive and implement strategic initiatives from time to time w.r.t. CRM, system compliance, etc
- Conduct Dashboard Review
