Divisional Manager - Sourcing Chassis

Key Responsibilities:

- Own and drive the strategic sourcing roadmap for Chassis commodities including Suspension, Brakes, Steering, Axle, Casting, Forging, and Machining.

- Leverage Cost Engineering, Cost Management, and CDMM (Cost Deployment Maturity Model) practices to drive sustainable cost reductions.

- Develop and implement long-term commodity strategies aligned with organizational goals.

- Lead supplier identification, qualification, negotiation, and onboarding processes.

- Maintain and grow relationships with OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers to ensure supply security, innovation, and value creation.

- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Finance, Operations, and Program teams.

- Monitor market trends, risks, and opportunities to ensure proactive supply chain decisions.

- Drive continuous improvement in supply chain processes and vendor performance metrics.

Candidate Profile:

- Engineering Graduate with a minimum of 18 years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, Commodity Management, and Vendor Development.

- Deep hands-on expertise in Cost Engineering, value analysis/value engineering (VA/VE), and supply base rationalization.

- Strong strategic leadership capabilities with proven results in supplier negotiation and stakeholder influence.

- In-depth knowledge of Chassis-related products and manufacturing processes.

- Preference for candidates with experience in OEMs or Tier-1 Automotive suppliers.
