We are looking for a young, energetic individual to join our team and be responsible for managing our marketplace business functions. As an eCommerce Manager, you will be responsible for managing the back-end business activities for the marketplace.
Marketplaces Operations- Responsible for managing & driving the online business on E-commerce marketplaces.
- Responsible for handling seller onboarding, product listings, promotions, deals, discounts & day-to-day operational issues related to the marketplace.
- Ensuring that all new sellers & products are uploaded and listed on the marketplace
- Understanding price sensitivity and managing pricing/re-pricing, ensuring there is price parity as per the policy
- Managing inventory, optimizing content for listings, listing hygiene as per platform standards/guidelines
- Inspecting landing pages, product information, checkout options, and all other pertinent marketplace-related systems to ensure their visual appeal, accuracy, and ease of use.
- Sole POC for communication with the product category & seller onboarding team.
- Set up region-wise 3PL providers & fulfilment pricing with live tracking
- Generating out-of-the-stock report, bestselling products report brand by brand on daily basis.
- Sort out pricing error issues and re-activate/deactivate the listings if required.
- Optimizing existing listings with accurate product information, images, pricing, inventory and placement to increase sales and maximize revenue
- Manage orders routed through website/app in Shopify or another back-end system including management, overview, order fulfilment, inventory management and logistics (liaising with Operations and Delivery team)
- Strategizing & implementing the plan of action for the week-on-week growth in the sales from online marketplace.
- Maintain database of orders, inventory feedback
- Support customer care emails and calls and also manage product or seller reviews.
What You Need To Have- Minimum 2-4 years' experience in in optimizing the product listings on Amazon, Flipkart, Udaan & Meesho platforms (other marketplaces are a plus)
- Experience in a highly analytical, results-oriented environment.
- Proven operational skills and demonstrated ability to manage the business "by the numbers". Must be metrics-driven.
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment with business on mind
- Advanced IT literacy especially in Microsoft Office/Excel applications.
- Attention to detail and capability to work on multiple projects in parallel
- Strong sense of urgency ability to manage details and multiple tasks while responding to changing priorities and feedback
- A hands-on self-starter, with a can-do positive attitude, willing to roll up their sleeves to do whatever it takes to get the job done, and a strong work ethic will also be essential
