Job Purpose
- Demand Planning, Indent Planning, Re-distribution Planning, 3PL Selection, Contracting & Management, Benchmarking/Service Level Monitoring, KPI/SLA Monitoring, Customer Responsiveness Survey, Expiry & Obsolescence Management
Major Accountabilities
- Work within the Organization for setting up Contractual Terms and Conditions for efficient engagement of Distributor/CSA Operations
- Work closely with the Distributor/CSA to ensure Operational efficiencies in Warehousing & Distribution incl. Order Processing
- Formulate & review SOP’s, SLA’s & KPI with the Distributor/CSA to ensure Customers needs are met.
- Work closely with the Distributor/CSA for all labeling and packaging requirements are met in compliance to local laws, guidelines and rules, including the control and disposition of expired/damaged/non-sterile goods.
- Carry out regular Operations review meetings with the Distributor/CSA to review the performance against set standards, and re-engineer processes to enhance performance and service capability.
- Carry out review of third party service providers/vendors in collaboration with Distributor/CSA.
- Constantly scan the 3PL landscape to develop alternate Service provider for Warehousing & Distribution.
- Ensure best-practice form within & outside the Industry are customized to enhance service capability of the Company.
- Review and analyze the Distribution reach and help in scaling up Distribution operations incl. warehouses/Stockist etc.
- Monitor Quarterly Pharma sample despatch movement from the Distributor/CSA’s Distribution points.
- Set up process for Complaint handling & monitoring as per company guidelines & Alcon complaint handling system.
- Perform benchmarking & Customer satisfaction surveys etc. to gauge Service capability
- Monitor Budgets & identify opportunities for cost optimization
- Ensure Distributor/CSA manages the COP & Web-portal.
- Coordinate with CSA/Distributor &Sales team for efficient turn-around of Bulk orders, Government orders, Tenders etc
- Act as liaison between Statutory Auditors & Distributor/CSA Team.
- Maintain data base of distribution centers and ensure the Operations run in a compliant manner.
