Job Title: Distillery Unit Head

Responsibilities:

Overall Operational Coordination:

- Liaise effectively with the local plant team and the Head Office (HO) manufacturing team to ensure smooth day-to-day factory operations.

Regulatory Compliance Management:

- Oversee the handling of excise and other governmental agencies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in the factory's daily operations...

Project Coordination and Implementation:

- Coordinate and implement various projects within the factory, monitoring progress regularly and presenting updates to stakeholders.

Production Planning and Execution:

- Collaborate with the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) team and the local unit team to develop monthly/quarterly production plans.

Performance Monitoring and Review:

- Conduct daily Tier 3 meetings to review unit operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) based on Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Morale, and Sustainability (SQCDMS).

Financial Planning and Duty Management:

- Plan with the finance department for various duty deposits as per the requirements of the business.

Statutory Compliance Oversight:

- Ensure the review and maintenance of statutory compliances across all required fields within the distillery unit.

Cross-Departmental Collaboration:

- Facilitate regular reviews with all departments to assess progress and discuss strategies for moving forward effectively.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.

- 15 years of experience in a leadership role within the distillery or manufacturing industry.

- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and governmental regulations related to distillery operations.

- Proven track record of successful project management and implementation.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.

- Ability to analyze data and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

- Sound financial acumen for budgeting and cost management.

- Familiarity with production planning processes and methodologies.

- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
