Disaster Recovery Manager - Business Continuity Planning - IT

JD:-

- 10 to 12 years of IT experience in to DC Migration BCP experience (Mandatory).

- Create a Business Continuity Plan, identifying scope of the plan, key business areas, critical functions, dependencies between various business areas and functions.

- Good experience in defining and implementing BCP/DR for Business Functions

- Hands-on experience in implementing / testing disaster recovery strategies and plans for applications

- Excellent good Communication skills

- Should have carried out DR plan and implementation assessments

- Determining acceptable downtime for each critical function.

- Creating & Maintaining full copy of mission critical data outside production region

- Creating plans to maintain operations.

- Creating consistent plans and accessible even in the event of a major disaster.

- Testing BC/DR plan in a realistic way to ensure it actually works

- Review and Improve Business Continuity Plan

- Ensuring production changes are properly reflected in the BC/DR plan

- Training the team on the BC/DR plan

- Identifying areas of automation and executing as a part of BCP.

- Understanding Risk mitigation

- Regulatory compliance / cost of downtime

- Forecasting unexpected events

- Ensuring best practises being followed

- Excellent understanding on Infrastructure disruptions, Network Latency and band width constraints including project management component

- Very good in adequate planning and testing considering IT complexity

- Very good understanding on architecture

- Prioritizing tier applications, establishing SLA with respect to line of business

- Executing periodic testing plans updating the results covering vulnerabilities.

- Excellent understanding in backup technology, removing WAN performance barriers

- Hands on Experience - Install, Configure and Manage VMware DC Virtualization products in Clustered Environment

- Hands on Experience with Data Centre Migration, Installation, Upgrades and Patching

- Apply DR solutions at Physical and Virtual environment.

- Designing and implementing high availability, Disaster recovery Solutions

- Experience with Tier I SAN storage provisioning storage groups and LUNs Skills and Abilities

- Knowledge of operating systems - (Windows 2008/2012), Linux, AIX, Sun -Solaris will be advantage

- Ability to write technical and operational management documentation (system design documents and operational runbooks).

- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, in order to discuss/document technical information.

- Ability to execute assignments within established timeframes and quality standards, while responding to immediate needs

- Ability to create and maintain positive and professional business relationships with both internal associates and external customers and Provide 24x7 support.

- Preferred to be ISO22301 LA.

- Preferable to have experience / expertise in Server Administration, Database Administration especially MS-SQL, Oracle.
