Director - Techno Commercial Development - Hyperscale Data Centers

Hiring, Techno-Commercial Development Director with following skills and expertise

Joining Location - Riyadh, KSA

Highly experienced hands-on project management professional with at least 15 years of work experience, with a substantial part of those years in the data centre space. The candidate must have developed, designed, contracted and built numerous hyperscale data centres and have preferably also experience in the operations of data centers.

The Techno-Commercial Director will be in charge for the techno-commercial aspects of the development and construction of data centers, including conceptual design, technical configuration, techno-commercial aspects of procurement, appointment and management of technical consultants and generally of all techno-commercial aspects required to take a project from inception to start of construction. The Techno-Commercial Director will build and manage a team and will work in close cooperation with the business/project development, sales, and finance teams.

The Techno-Commercial Director will report to the Chief Technology Officer.

The Techno-Commercial Director will have the following experience :

- At least 15 years of work experience with a substantial part of those years in the data center space

- Full delivery experience with regards to core and shell data centres

- Experience in designing, contracting, building and delivering large scale hyperscale data centres

- Techno-commercial experience in procurement for data centers

- Experience in operation of data centers is preferable

- Experience in new build from concept to delivery, brownfield and greenfield site;

- Experience preferably with a consultant and a data center operator with exposure to hyperscalers

- Come from a solid Mechanical, Electrical or building service/design background

- Strong business acumen and budgeting and cost management experience

- Strong experience in interacting with stakeholders, particularly with hyperscaler customers

- Ability to build and lead a team

- Ability to work in a start-up; driven character.
