Role & Responsibilities:
- You will play a pivotal role in growing and building the organization globally. You will align talent acquisition strategies with the organization's talent agenda & business strategies.
- You demonstrate strong ability in designing, planning and coordinating talent acquisition efforts; ensuring the talent acquisition programs are scalable to support local, regional and global activities.
- Acts as Advisor to the business on a wide variety of talent acquisition strategies, programs and processes. These include planning, recruiting, assessment of candidates, usage of instruments, candidate sourcing, market research and employment branding.
- You will be working collaboratively across all regional and global stakeholders in the organization. She/he will formulate the workforce strategy, provide thought leadership in Organization design and ensure seamless delivery of all Talent Acquisition initiatives across the India & APAC region.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent & Workforce Strategy
- Oversee development of short and long-term talent acquisition strategies supporting the India Region.
- Oversee cross-functional interactions among internal stakeholders (e.g. business leaders) and external talent acquisition partners (e.g., vendors) to develop strategies to address talent needs.
- Responsible for talent acquisition process and systems management and taking decisions for futuristic tools and platforms deployment as well as scale.
- Direct and provide thought leadership surrounding the design, launch and delivery of talent acquisition programs and diversity goals (e.g. branding, Diversity, workforce segmentation projects)
- Review data and assesses external labor market, the competitive talent environment and Organization business objectives to forecast talent supply and needs, prioritize high-level objectives, and communicate observations, insights, and best practices to business units and regional leaders
- Develop and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships, including senior function leaders and vendors & Partners.

Strategic Hiring & expansions
- Demonstrate ability to plan for global hiring strategies outside India. This may include hiring in the APAC region.
- Understand compliance & regulations of the regions, demonstrates appetite to familiarize himself/herself with the country specific regulations and collaborate with other functions like legal, Information security and other cross functional teams.
- Proactively seek out new technologies and sourcing tools that will support our recruitment teams and expansion plans.
- Monitor performance of programs/initiatives/utilization and ROI through data, reporting and dashboards and implement improvement plans/address issues in a timely manner.
- Forecast hiring efficiencies, analyses the patterns of sourcing and promote effective methods of hiring.
Team Efficiency & Capability Building
- Manage one or more teams, conducts goal setting and performance appraisal processes, coaches and develops employees as an organizational asset.
- Build proactively the team capabilities to tackle complex hiring challenges and educate teams on best practices and its adoption.
- Demonstrate thought leadership on building business competencies around better hiring practices and training hiring managers on interviewing skills.
- Coach and advise business leaders on hiring decisions and ensure the hiring is aligned with the role requirement and culture of the organization
Experiences
- Successfully develop and implement global talent acquisition strategies that balances internal business demands and conditions of the external labor market.
- Successful track record in achieving strategic talent acquisition goals for the enterprise/business units in a fast-paced and high volume, matrixed environment (to carry across all levels)
- Demonstrate excellent people leadership skills with the ability to recognize opportunities, set direction and gain commitment of others to achieve goals and overcome obstacles
- Experience enhancing talent acquisition programs/processes based on relevant best practices, external trends and leveraging advanced analytics
- Proven track record handling, building and maintaining a high performing TA team, plus managing external relationships (i.e. vendors, agencies, branding partners)
- Successfully managed contracts and consistently delivered beneficial negotiation results. Being a hands-on leader who can lead a team and run his/her own searches when needed.
- Demonstrate ability to coach and mentor seasoned recruiters on search best practices.
- Build engage, manage and develop a team of high-performing recruiting staff in an extremely fast-paced and ambiguous environment
