Director TA (Tech) - Fintech Company
We are seeking a Director of TA to spearhead our technical recruitment initiatives, ensuring the best talent acquisition. This role will be crucial in structuring and refining our human resources department to meet the demands of our rapidly growing technology division.
Our client is a fintech payments company operating at the intersection of finance and technology, revolutionizing how individuals and businesses conduct transactions.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Team Optimization:
- Evaluate and optimize current talent acquisition strategies, processes, and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness, specifically within technology hiring.
- Provide strategic guidance to the team, ensuring alignment with the company's growth objectives and technology roadmap.
- Identify and address any gaps in team performance, knowledge, or resources.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration within the team.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including engineering, product, and data science leaders.
Team Development & Mentorship:
- Provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and development opportunities to team members.
- Establish clear performance metrics and goals, and track progress against key talent acquisition KPIs.
- Empower team members to take ownership of their roles and contribute to team success.
- Ensure the team is up to date on the latest recruiting tools, and technologies.
Technology Recruitment Expertise & Enhancement:
- Refine and enhance existing sourcing strategies to attract top-tier technology talent from diverse backgrounds.
- Evaluate and improve current candidate assessment processes to ensure accurate evaluation of technical skills and cultural fit.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to keep the team informed and effective.
- Ensure the team is utilizing all available resources, and that processes are efficient.
Employer Branding & Candidate Experience:
- Strengthen and refine our employer brand to attract top technology talent and position [Fintech Company Name] as an employer of choice.
- Analyze and improve the current candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Reinforce and expand diversity and inclusion initiatives.
Data & Analytics:
- Leverage data and analytics to monitor team performance, identify areas for improvement, and optimize recruitment strategies.
- Generate regular reports on talent acquisition performance and provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
- Ensure the ATS is utilized correctly, and that data is accurate.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in human resources from an institute of high repute will be highly preferred
- Proven track record of success in talent acquisition, preferably in a fast-paced environment with 8+ years of experience in talent acquisition.
- Experience recruiting for a variety of roles in the technology domain with an ability to recruit for niche roles with the evolving markets
- Strong sourcing skills and experience using various recruitment tools and platforms.
- Proven track record of leading and scaling high-performing recruitment teams.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
- Data-driven approach to recruitment, with experience tracking and analyzing key metrics.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is a plus.
- Experience in the industry is a plus.
