Job Summary:
The Talent Acquisition Director will lead the company's talent acquisition strategy and operations. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in developing and implementing innovative recruitment solutions to attract top talent. The Director will oversee a team of recruiters and work closely with senior leadership to meet the company's hiring needs and support its growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned with the company's business goals.
- Forecast hiring needs based on business growth plans and workforce planning.
2. Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing talent acquisition team.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture focused on continuous improvement.
3. Recruitment Process Management:
- Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience.
- Implement and maintain efficient recruitment processes and best practices.
- Utilize data and metrics to measure the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and processes.
4. Employer Branding:
- Enhance the company's employer brand to attract top talent.
- Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to promote the company as an employer of choice.
5. Stakeholder Management:
- Partner with senior leaders and hiring managers to understand their talent needs and provide guidance on hiring strategies.
- Build strong relationships with external recruitment agencies, universities, and other talent sources.
6. Diversity and Inclusion:
- Champion diversity and inclusion in the recruitment process.
- Develop strategies to attract and hire a diverse workforce.
7. Technology and Innovation:
- Leverage technology and innovative recruiting tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay current with industry trends and incorporate best practices into the talent acquisition strategy.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
15+ years of experience in talent acquisition, with expertise in leadership hiring, volume hiring, campus hiring, lateral hiring.
Proven experience in developing and executing talent acquisition strategies.
Strong understanding of recruitment metrics and data-driven decision-making.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment technologies.
