Summary/Objective
Director of supply chain management Control Tower position manages transportation data to provide enhanced visibility for short- and long-term decision-making aligned with strategic objectives.
Job Description:
- Act as an industry expert with the ability to exhibit deep domain knowledge of Control Tower, in order to guide clients toward improved processes to drive profit, enhance resource effectiveness, and improve overall process efficiency.
- Use expert facilitation skills to lead clients to solutions and opportunities in the areas of business process, resource use and technology.
- Stay ahead of current industry best practices and operate as a thought leader in supply chain processes.
- Maintain close cross functional stakeholder management.
- Lead the team of Control Tower Services, in-house fleet team, outsourced carriers team to maintain high level business operations
- Optimize load and route planning with in-house fleet team or outsourced carriers to ensure cost-effective model are delivered
- Facilitate and coordinates all transportation procedures according to SOPs aligned with customers- requirements are delivered and maintained.
- Manage budgets control of transport costs to maximize delivery productivity, on-time delivery and perfect order fulfillment
- Develop and drive continuous improvement initiatives to benefit both customers and company
- Review and analysis the operations data and performance to prepare monthly management reports with sound recommendations to management and customers
- Monitor the targets and KPIs such as on time delivery rate, delivery volumes, service quality and customer complaints
- Provide guidance to subordinates to enhance team's competences
- Implement a fully functional supply chain management infrastructure.
- Maintenance and accuracy of data in computer system (input and issuance from inventory, labor reporting, startup of quoting modules, etc.)
