Supply Chain Director
Position: Director of Supply Chain
Location: MumbaiReporting To: CEO (Dotted line to APAC Director)Criteria:- Education: Graduate/Postgraduate with MBA in Supply Chain Management or BE
- Experience: Minimum 10 years in Supply Chain activities, including 3 years in leading the SCM function in a 5000 Mio INR/year Consumer Goods company, ideally in FMCG with broad distribution and local production.
- Experience leading various SCM sub-functions (planning, warehousing, transportation) through full assignments.
Skills and Knowledge:- Proficiency in Indian local logistics details, ERP systems, warehousing, transportation, and S&OP processes.
- Understanding of ERP concepts from a user's perspective.
- Strong network with logistics providers, SCM consultants, customer logistic resources, relevant authorities, and FMCG companies with production facilities.
- Ability to balance company's interests against functional ones.
- Strong English language skills.
- Understanding of Western parent company dynamics and effective communication.
- Financial acumen, including P&L and balance sheet analysis for business influence.

Job Purpose: Ensure a robust, efficient, and responsive Supply Chain in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to provide excellent customer service efficiently. Process improvement is a key focus.Interactions (Internal & External):Internal:

Key Responsibilities:- Review and adapt supply chain design elements for changing business needs.
- Oversee business needs identification, annual plan deployment, and implementation for service, cost, productivity, quality, and innovation.
- Define appropriate roles in Supply Chain and recruit/train/develop resources.
- Ensure information flow visibility through process flow installation and ERP integration.
- Co-Lead Sales and Operations Planning Process, optimizing supply chain cost, processes, inventory, and sales forecasting.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage Finished Goods Vendors to meet Quality Assurance norms.
- Forecast inventory needs and production schedules, strategizing production and quality improvements.
- Ownership of the OP process from Supply Chain.
- Stay updated on Supply Chain Management trends relevant to the company.
- Support local, regional, and global projects.
- Regular business trips to vendors, warehouses, and Company Regional offices.
