Job Title: Director - Strategy Consulting

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Director to join our client team in Gurgaon or Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategy consulting, specifically within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or Consumer Goods domain. The role will focus on driving market entry strategies, go-to-market (GTM) initiatives, and overall growth strategies for Indian clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop comprehensive GTM, market entry, and growth strategies for clients in the CPG or Consumer Goods sector.
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing expert consulting services and strategic advice to address their business challenges.
- Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and industry benchmarking to identify growth opportunities for clients.
- Project Management: Lead cross-functional consulting projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables, adherence to timelines, and client satisfaction.
- Team Leadership: Guide and mentor junior consultants, fostering an environment of knowledge sharing and professional development.
- Business Development: Support business development efforts by identifying new consulting opportunities, crafting proposals, and participating in client pitches.
- Thought Leadership: Stay abreast of industry trends and contribute to thought leadership initiatives, including white papers, articles, and client workshops.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: 7 to 12 years of strategy consulting experience, with at least 7 years focused on the India market, specializing in GTM, growth strategy, and market entry strategies within the CPG or Consumer Goods domain.
- Domain Expertise: In-depth knowledge of the CPG or Consumer Goods industry, including market dynamics, consumer behavior, distribution channels, and competitive landscape.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable strategies.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating complex strategies to clients and senior stakeholders effectively.
- Project Management: Proven ability to manage large-scale consulting projects, including planning, execution, and team coordination.
- Leadership: Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with experience in leading teams and managing client relationships at a senior level.
- Education: MBA from a Tier 1 B-School is required
