Director - Strategy - Bank

Our client is one of the leading MNC banks operating in India. They are looking to hire a Director of Strategy, who'd be working with the CEO for cross functional planning and management of major - growth projects- by bringing together business and support units.

Responsibilities:

a. Planning & support to the CEO in the design of bank's India strategy

b. Acting as sounding board & advising various Business Unit (BU) Heads in the design of the individual BU strategies

c. Support in the execution of the strategy

d. Inorganic and strategic investment opportunities in partnership with various businesses

e. Support CEO with change management initiatives

f. Sharpening and running a strong Performance Management regime given the substantial scale-up and change in complexity of the India business (dashboarding, business plan monitoring & driving of synergies across businesses)

g. Managing a team of 6-7 people, and driving the overall strategy agenda with them

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of relevant experience in management consulting and corporate strategy with a leading management consulting firm. A strong academic background, knowledge of the financial services sector, and ability to influence senior leaders and drive change are some of the qualities that will differentiate the successful candidate.
