Director - Strategic Consulting And Commercial Due Diligence

About the Role :

Designation : Director Deals Strategy

Desired Experience :

- 10-15 years of management consulting experience with a research / consulting firm

- Experience in delivery of at least 10-15 commercial due diligence engagements (PE CDD experience is mandatory)

- Specific consulting / industry experience in the financial services (NBFCs, FinTech and banks)

- Personal client relationships and market connect is a pre-requisite

Desired Educational Background : MBA from a Tier 1 institute

Location : Gurgaon / Mumbai / Bangalore

Role Description :

Business Development (60% focus)

- Demonstrate thought leadership in the sector and bring in new business for the practice

- Lead conversations with PE and corporate clients, in the sector of expertise

Delivery (30% focus)

- Oversee engagement delivery and manage priorities for the team and client - including direction-setting for delivery, managing client expectations and leading client discussions

- Ensure that engagements are delivered in compliance with the firm's risk processes

People & Practice (10% focus)

- Mentor and motivate junior team members

- Own select practice priority areas - e.g. hiring, knowledge management, risk management, training

Candidate requirements :

- Solid sector knowledge and strong view on sector happenings and competitive landscape

- Direct client relationships - with PEs and / or 4-5 clients in the sector

- Demonstrated sales and business development skills

- Very strong analytical skills and structured problem-solving abilities

- Impeccable oral and written communication skills

- Willingness and ability to frequently work under tight timelines and pressure

- Team leadership skills
