Director - Statutory Audit - Consulting Firm

Job Role :

- As a Director, the individual should be a qualified Chartered Accountant with excellent leadership skills and handle the entire audit and assurance practice. Knowledge of Accounting Standards, Corporate Laws and Taxation Laws;

- Expertise in successfully leading and handling audits for large multinationals;

- Main job responsibilities include managing an engagement, delivering technical support, building client relationships etc.

Primary responsibilities :

- Support a portfolio of engagements, by leading a team

- Ensure the team delivers timely and high-quality work, as per COMPANY methodology and in line with the expectations

- Demonstrate strong understanding of COMPANY methodology in service delivery and supporting various quality projects, such as pre-issuance reviews, assurance quality reviews, efficiency projects and others.

Qualifications, skills and experience :

- Chartered Accountant with 12 - 14 years of post-qualification experience with Big4 focused on external or statutory assurance matters for an MNC or a large Indian company

- Expert knowledge of Indian accounting and assurance standards or knowledge of IFRS

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
