Director - Statutory Audit

Job Description:

We are actively seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as the Director of Statutory Audit, with a specific focus on diversity and inclusion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire Statutory Audit process for our Indian Market clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and delivering high-quality audit services.

Responsibilities:

End-to-End Statutory Audit

- Execute and manage the complete Statutory Audit cycle for Indian Market clients.

- Ensure adherence to relevant regulatory frameworks and compliance standards.

Business Development:

- Drive business development initiatives to expand our client portfolio.

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Indian market.

Cross Selling & Upselling:

- Develop strategies for cross-selling and upselling audit services to existing clients.

- Collaborate with other departments to identify opportunities for additional services.

Diversity and Inclusion:

- Champion diversity and inclusion within the organization.

- Implement initiatives to promote diversity in the workplace and client engagements.

Consulting Experience:

- Utilize consulting skills to provide valuable insights to Indian clients.

- Offer strategic advice and recommendations based on audit findings.

Sector Agnostic

- Candidates from any sector are welcome, bringing diverse perspectives and experiences.

- Previous consulting experience with Indian clients is highly desirable.

Qualifications:

- Mandatory CA (Chartered Accountant) qualification.

- Proven track record in managing statutory audits, preferably in an Indian context.
