Location: Mumbai, India

Experience Required: 18 to 25 years

Age Limit: Less than 50 years

Non-Working Days: All Sundays and 2nd & 4th Saturdays

Job Summary:

- We are seeking an experienced Indirect Tax GST Specialist to join our team at a leading food manufacturing company.

- The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing indirect taxes, particularly GST, and will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

- GST Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST returns, reconciliation of GST ledgers, and compliance with all GST regulations.

- Tax Planning: Develop and implement effective tax planning strategies to optimize tax liabilities.

- Audit and Assessment: Handle GST audits, assessments, and liaise with tax authorities for any queries or issues.

- Advisory: Provide expert advice on GST-related matters to various departments within the company.

- Documentation: Maintain proper documentation for all GST-related transactions and ensure records are up-to-date.

- Training: Conduct training sessions for internal teams on GST compliance and updates.

- Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on GST compliance and tax planning to senior management.

Qualifications:

Education: CA/ICWA/CS or equivalent qualification.

Experience: 18 to 25 years of experience in indirect tax, with a strong focus on GST.

Skills:

- In-depth knowledge of GST laws and regulations.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in tax software and MS Office.
