Director - Software Engineering

They want someone who built from the scratch

Responsibility :

- Support development and execution of the product Road map in collaboration with the Product management

- Experience in Building, Leading and managing a team of engineers to design, develop and deliver software solutions that meet business objectives

- Also responsible for managing the Cloud Infrastructure and Information Security Operations

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software components

- Strong experience in working with stakeholders, including clients, business partners, and cross-functional teams

- Develop and implement software development methodologies and best practices

- Define and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources

- Ensure software solutions are scalable, reliable, and maintainable

- Provide technical leadership to the team and mentor junior engineers

- Staying abreast with current with emerging trends and technologies in software engineering and recommend new tools and best practice

Requirements:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field

- Hands-on technical leadership with proven ability to recruit and Scale high performance talent

- 14+ years of experience in Software Engineering with at least 5+ years as an engineering leader in a software product company.

- Experience in building out ,scaling and managing Cloud native applications

- Must have Strong expertise in Java, Spring boot, frontend technologies like React and AWS

- Experience on Gitlab, Jenkins, Docker etc.

- Experience on databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL

- Additionally experience on Bootstrap,, Cucumber, Sonarqube, Tomcat, Ngnix, Apache2, would be a plus.

- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously

- Ability to work in an Agile and dynamic environment
