Director - SMP - R&D - Pharma/FMCG

We have a senior level position with a top MNC brand in fmcg. The position is for DIRECTOR - SMP to be based out of MUMBAI

The applicants should meet with the following criteria:

- Possess -Masters or Doctorate in Chemistry/Pharmacy/ Process Engineering with 15 - 20 years of broad experience of technical functions in a big FMCG/Pharma sector company

- They must be currently heading R&D or technical functions in highly reputed fmcg or pharma organizations with experience in OTC. consumer care products like lotions, skin care, cosmetic care etc

- Must have 15 plus yrs experience and current ctc should not be less than 50 lakhs

Essential / Preferred Job Experience / Skills:

- Broad technical functional experience in a FMCG/OTC pharm product category

- Strategic mindset & Business knowledge

- Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate effectvely across levels in the organization

- Formulation/Process development

- Product -package compatibility knowledge

- cGMP kowledge & borad local regulatory landscape understanding

Key responsibilities:

- Represent technical function on India consumer management board to frame short & long term business impretaives and deliver planned business growth.

- Timely delivery of NPD-NPI projects to meet business plans

- Lead & support manufacturing network redesign and capacity expansion projects in collaboation with India operation leadership team.

- Provide technical leadreship to drive product affordibility and supply reliability.

- Excecution of technical projects to achieve internal & external complaince

- Drive and deploy innovative solutions to provide efficient and effective work processes.

- Support Licensing & Acquisition initiatives.

- Deploy development plans for SMP team to enhance technical competencies

- Collaboration with HR to augment leadership bench strength.
