Director/Senior Manager
Role :
Primary (KRAs) :
- Bring in new business to the firm and practice through knowledge as well as market relationships
- Provide solutions in the areas of management consulting to clients in Consumer Products.
- Support the sector leader in producing thought leadership and marketing campaigns for the CP sector.
- Take responsibility for the overall execution of the project and final report delivery in accordance with E&Y quality guidelines and methodologies.
- Manage client relationships on a day-to-day basis.
- Serve as a counselor and/or mentor to staff.
- Ensure effective and timely knowledge sharing across the engagement back the firm.
Concurrent :
- Responsible for the planning and scheduling of individual assignments; help determine the best team for the client (i.e., appropriate skill set mix and experience for the assignment in question)
- Responsible for monitoring all aspects of the engagement economics
- Discuss with management the expectations for deliverables, communication protocols and value measurements
- Develop a strong working understanding of the client's language and acronyms, business processes, and engagement history
- Become familiar with the services the firm provides and actively look for cross selling opportunities
- Leverage ideas from other projects to enhance knowledge bases and create efficiencies
- Develop and document the engagement risk management approach and ensure adequate consideration of the risks and review of the working papers throughout the assignments
- Perform detailed work review of Managers and Senior Consultants performing work and general review of work reviewed by Seniors
- Manage and lead others in the delivery of services using the Advisory service delivery process
- Stay abreast of general business/economic developments; gain an in-depth understanding of their linkage and impact on the client's business.
