Director / Sr Director -Independent Price valuation

Role and Responsibility:

In this role you will:

- Own, supervise and ensure the delivery of daily and monthly Independent Price Verification (IPV) activities for the bank

- Take ownership of stakeholders and business engagement, leading the journey of business growth partnership

- Make a critical contribution to the bank, while gaining invaluable experience and exposure in a complex valuation control area of the organisation

- Supervising financial instrument valuation, PruVal, bid-offer reserving and other financial reporting in line with business requirements

- Addressing valuation limitations through reserve or valuation adjustment calculations

- Regularly meeting with business analysts for IPV changes and automations, including engaging with the Enterprise Solutions team

- Coordinating the resolution of all non-standard queries and supporting the resolution of complex queries on processes and methodologies

- Continuously focusing on the improvements, and enhancing existing valuation control solutions, including reviewing independent pricing processes and tools, assessing potential coverage developments, and implementing solutions to enhance control efficacy
