Our client is a leading Financial Institution who has invested billions of dollars to set up the first ever Digital Lab within their expertise industry segment. The offline spend data is strong indicator of consumer behavior whilst the online data is noisy, sparse and with rare events - but signals intent. The client wants to combine the two for hundreds of millions of consumers for personalization and maximise the potential of the business.

Job Description

Reporting to the Head for Digital Labs, you would be responsible for leading a group of research scientists and engineers engaged in Ml/Ir/Dm/Optimization Modeling. You would be working on real large scale offline and online data that is unique and come up with imaginative ways of correlating them for prediction, targeting, personalization and Risk & Fraud modeling on Hadoop platform. Furthermore you would need to liaise with business partners to come up with new applications and guide research projects for the Digital lab. Lastly you would provide direction and leadership for the team of world class scientists and engineers for patent and external publications in external research community.

The Successful Applicant

- PhD in Statistics, Data Mining & Machine Learning, Computer Science from premium colleges in India and abroad

- At least 5+ years of post doctorate experience within similar function

- Must have experience working with large offline and online data within Multinational Digital Labs

- Ability to lead a team of highly qualified engineers and scientists

- Education background has to be from IIT, IIM, IIIT, NITs and the likes of Duke, Buffalo, Texas University from abroad.
