SAP Modules: Should have strong background in any core SAP Functional area in Finance, Logistics, Supply Chain or Manufacturing. Should also have good cross functional knowledge and understanding of integration aspects of various SAP Modules such as MM with FI, PP with CO, MM with WM etc. Understanding of SAP Technical Areas like PI, Basis, Security andABAP. Should have exposure to the requirements of GxP and Sox compliance. Experience: - Overall 15-20 years including domain expertise and extensive SAP experience. - 5+ years in a leadership position in SAP and experience, in a similar-sized organization to Company, of leading an organization of around 150 SAP resources with 2 or 3 levels of reporting structure below this position. The first line reports will be Associate Directors, - Senior Managers and Senior Project Delivery leads. - This position reports to the Global Leader of SAP ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Overall accountability and responsibility for global delivery of SAP Functional Area AD and AM Services - Provide leadership in the capabilities being managed (primarily functional and project delivery) - Work with senior stakeholders across business and in different IT functions (Software shared services and Customer Facing IT teams) - Capacity Planning and Demand Management for SAP Team - Lead teams comprising of the company and Partner (Contract) resources - Create and champion framework for innovation and continuous improvement - Work with SSS Tower lead in Chennai to guarantee infrastructure, connectivity, space and any other requirements for the team to Deliver - Maintain a Risk Management Plan and ensure Risk Mitigation strategies are implemented - Work with HR Business Partners to manage employee engagement, attrition, and recruitment - Plan training for team members based on business needs and emerging technologies - Act as point of escalation within the GTC - Monitor progress of the SAP Team in the GTC in supporting IT and SSS (Software Shared Services) objectives REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE :&nbsp; - Leadership skills needed to manage a 150+ diverse team - Ability to create an environment that fosters innovation, continuous improvement and waste elimination - Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and vendors - Good understanding of analytics that would allow to conclude on trends and predict demand - In touch with latest advents and trends in SAP and connected technologies - Must have significant experience of working in a multi-partner scenario and a cross-culture environment. - Detailed understanding of business processes in the life sciences/pharmaceutical domain. - Good understanding of ITIL processes and their management - Should have experience of managing validated environments and be aware of GXP and SOX requirements. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Well versed in English. Excellent spoken and written skills. - Ability to guide and mentor team members. - Experience working in a globally distributed team
