We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Sales Operations to lead and scale our sales operations function. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales operations within the SaaS industry, with strong leadership skills, analytical capabilities, and a deep understanding of sales processes and tools.

This role will be critical in driving the efficiency and effectiveness of our sales team, ultimately contributing to the company's growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

- Develop and execute the sales operations strategy aligned with the company's overall business goals.

- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales operations team.

Sales Process Optimization:

- Design, implement, and continuously improve sales processes and methodologies to enhance productivity and efficiency.

- Ensure alignment of sales processes with best practices and industry standards.

CRM and Sales Tools Management:

- Oversee the administration and optimization of the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and other sales tools.

- Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the CRM and other systems.

Analytics and Reporting:

- Develop and maintain comprehensive sales performance metrics, dashboards, and reports.

- Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to the executive team.

Sales Forecasting and Planning:

- Lead the development of accurate sales forecasts and budgets.

- Monitor sales performance against targets and adjust strategies as necessary.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

- Work closely with sales, marketing, finance, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of strategies.

- Serve as a liaison between sales and other departments to streamline communication and processes.

Sales Compensation and Incentives:

- Design and manage effective sales compensation plans and incentive programs.

- Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of compensation programs to ensure they drive desired behaviors and outcomes.

Training and Development:

- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales team.

- Ensure the sales team is well-versed in using sales tools and following best practices.

Special Projects and Initiatives:

- Lead or participate in strategic projects and initiatives aimed at driving sales growth and operational excellence.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

- 7+ years of experience in sales operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably within a SaaS company.

- Proven track record of successfully leading and scaling sales operations functions.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

- Excellent leadership, commnication, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
