Responsibilities :
Business Planning :
- Develop and implement the Human Nutrition sales strategy, plan and operations, in line with the sales & marketing policy for Human Nutrition customers, to achieve the sales objectives
Sales Management :
- Monitor execution of the sales plans and take corrective actions when necessary, in order to achieve agreed objectives
- Develop, define, negotiate and conclude with customers sales contracts including terms and conditions and follow up on execution in order to realize the sales objectives
- Contract, manage and evaluate agents and distributors, in line with agreed specifications in order to provide optimal services
Team Development :
- Steer Nutrition sales team and provide skill- and capability coaching to reach desired behavioral shifts
- Regularly conduct performance dialogues to steer business performance and project portfolio realization
External and Internal Stakeholder Management
- Provide and share relevant market information and recommendations with business partners based on customer and outside orientation, to support decision making on business strategy, new product and market development and portfolio
- Develop and maintain an external network of peers, competitors, customers in own market area and look after the interest of the organization, leading to a positive image and insight in developments and trends
Knowledge and educational level :
- Minimum 12 years of intensive experience of the human and/or animal health industry at a senior level.
- University degree in Human Science or equivalent with additional tertiary qualifications.
- Deep nutrition industry knowledge and network (dairy/nutritional experience preferred)
- Strong Operational knowledge/experience
Required level of experiences :
- At least 8 years- experience of successfully managing a multi-cultural organization.
- Marketing/commercial skills with education in industry related field(s) essential.
- Several years of experience in a management position with people management and operational responsibility.
- Marketing and sales and intensive customer contact.
- Strong balance of commercial, financial and operational skill set
- Good managerial and negotiation skills, strong interpersonal skills, excellent ability to relate across cultures and good customer management, high capacity for staff development and coaching
- Proven track record of creating and executing breakthrough strategies combined with track record of people development
