Director Sales & Marketing - International (LPG Cylinder)
- Reporting to the Board of Directors, job responsibilities include:
- Lead Marketing and Business Development initiatives and aiming towards organic as well as inorganic growth in Cylinders with key focus on technological advancements, expansion in new geographies as well as diversification into core/aligned business opportunities.
- Leverage relationships with existing global accounts to generate business in International Market
- Exploring and mining of new accounts, new markets, and new sectors.
- Engage with customers throughout customer lifecycle (pre-sales - sales - delivery - service) and expedite the resolution of any customer problem or complaint
- Generate new/allied business through long-term engagement and relationship building with customers.
- Responsible for expansion, development, monitoring and management of the LPG distribution network and LPG marketing initiatives thereby increase market penetration and driving business growth.
- Share and contribute to the Board's long term vision of becoming a leading player in the market.
- Direct & complete responsibility of P& L and a healthy Balance Sheet for the company
- Annual P & L Budgeting.
- Review of business performance against budget. Analyze and present variance/ achievements/ failures/ improvements/ suggestions to Board of Directors quarterly.
- Mentor the projects, engineering, procurement and sales team.
- Maintain PR with principals/consultants/contractors to ensure business continuance and enhancement.
- Develop principals & associations at a global level for technology/product support/services.
- Ensure adherence to global standards in execution, operation, processes and procedures.
- Implement cross functional trainings for overall skill development of staff.
- Support Finance team in efficient functioning and ensure accounting principles are adhered to.
- Support and review functioning of HR, Admin and PRO teams.
- Ensure cost effective and time efficient administration.
- Upgrade & implement HR policies to suit organizational needs.
Qualification, Experience & Skill Sets:
1. BE & MBA in marketing Preferred with experience of 15-25 years in experience of selling LPG Cylinders to OEM customers.
2. Responsible for managing and uncovering new clients- mid-size to large OEM customers covering a region/ international region & a set of accounts.
3. Ability to interact professionally with customers, both physically and electronically to maintain professionalism with difficult customers.
4. Ability to problem solve and to multi-task and support and organize various projects at the same time.
5. Experience within the LPG Gases Industry is required. Related experience may include Major
6. Industrial Gas Company, Independent Distributors, Fire Protection OEM, Breathing Air OEM, and or
7. similar prior positions with a proven record of success and advancement.
8. Existing relationships and acceptance among Co's Customers including experience with Buying Group Memberships.
9. Possesses a strong understanding and exposure to sales of professional goods and services.
10. Has advanced knowledge of the Sales process, including credit, scope, terms, and conditions.
