Educational and Experience Requirements for a Sales Director:
- A bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Min. 8 years of experience in institution sales & responding to RFPs
- Experience working with PSUs and other government entities would be preferable.
- Proven experience in managing and leading a sales team, developing sales strategies, and driving revenue growth.
- Strong industry knowledge and understanding of market trends, competitors, and customer needs.

- Exceptional leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate a sales team, set targets, and drive performance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Strategic thinking and analytical skills to develop sales strategies, identify market opportunities, and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills to secure deals, manage contracts, and drive revenue.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships, understand customer needs, and provide effective solutions.
- Proficiency in sales management software, track sales metrics, analyze data, and manage sales pipelines.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of financial metrics, budgets, and forecasting.
- Adaptability and resilience to navigate changing market conditions and overcome challenges.
- Leadership by example, demonstrating integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to ethical sales practices.
