Director Sales - Appliances
Role & responsibilities :
- Reporting to Business Chief steering Trade (Distribution, Brand Shops, Local Chain Stores (LCS), Dealers & Corporate Sales), delivering business and achieving top-line and bottom-line objectives.
- Identify & create awareness to improve Numeric/ Weighted Distribution in Rural & Urban markets.
- Training & guiding Distributors & Distributor sales staff to cater to unexplored markets.
- Study & understand consumer needs of markets & develop products along with Product teams.
- Create road map for product development along with HQ for product introduction in market.
- Implement sell-out based business developmental modules for channel partners to improve extraction, stock management / visibility and revenue through JBP (Joint Business Planning), GTM strategy (Go-To-Market), ASAP (Account Strategy & Planning) and SOM (Sell out Management) PAN India.
- Strengthen Distribution network by identifying gaps and opening Distributors in vacant markets/ geographies.
- Successfully creating strategies basis market potential, improve market share & account level counter share.
Preferred candidate profile :
- Should have 18+ years of relevant experience in a leadership role within the consumer durable industry, with a proven track record of success in a multinational context.
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and a mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across diverse cultures.
- Demonstrated ability to drive business results, particularly in turnaround situations.
- In-depth knowledge of markets, consumer trends, and regulatory landscapes.
