Our client( a Big 4) is currently seeking experienced professionals in IT Advisory (ITAS) for the Risk Consulting practice of the organisation to join them n their Bangalore office.
A Director within the team would typically be responsible for delivering specific IT Advisory engagements, managing teams and managing quality of work. It includes establishing themselves as a subject matter expert in one or more chosen field of expertise, building strong client and global virtual delivery team relationships and spotting and converting opportunities to drive growth in one or more specific areas of our business.
RESPONSIBILITIES;
The responsibilities attributable to this role will include some or all of the following
1)Building and managing excellent client and global team relationships across a range of clients.
2) Actively identifying and progressing business development opportunities, as well as supporting the team with sales activities such as proposal writing and assisting with client presentation.
3) Participate in a service line, reporting to the service line leader on innovative service development sales & delivery.
THE INDIVIDUAL;
Successful candidates will display a combination of the following:
1) Bachelor's degree (BBM / BSc / BBA / MCA / BCom / BE) from an accredited college/university and/ or CA/CISA/CIA- .
2) Masters degree in IT/ Business Administration.
3) 12+ years of experience in IT Advisory services with key role in developing and delivery services with proven experience of successfully managing and delivering IT advisory services around external/internal audit) to medium to large, multi-national clients in global virtual delivery platform. Including, for example, experience in: auditing and advising clients that operate major ERP systems (eg SAP and Oracle); performing project assurance roles in major IT programmes; reviewing IT aspects of mergers and acquisition activity.
EXPERIENCE & BACKGROUND
1) Experience in business analysis and understanding of core business processes within varied industry sectors.
2)Proven experience in managing and delivering global engagements in a virtual delivery model.
3) Experience in an IT risk and control / audit environment.
4) A good understanding of IT data centre operations and a variety of technology platforms.
5) A good understanding of risk and issues that would be encountered by our clients during major IT projects.
6) Ability to present on specific subjects to a group of people (internal staff or clients/potential clients).
7) Ability to identify and assess complex IT risks and controls, to relate hem to the wider business environment and to express opinions clearly.
8) Reasonable awareness of IT project management, workflow, GRC tools & basic office applications.
