Business Development :
- Supports RD with the business development strategy - and drives this with their teams - through major projects, potential markets for new offices, new client opportunities and account expansion for their sectors
- Develops an extensive senior client contact network and seeks to utilise this to identify business opportunities
- Maximises business lead generation in their team by using EIC data stream and other marketing information such as media and press releases to map out client contacts in investment prospects
- Supports business proposals and follows up on current projects by scheduling regular meetings with senior clients
- Works directly with, or directs their teams to work with, the bids and tenders team to ensure the development and production of the required information and documentation, to review prior to submission, ensuring this is at the standard required to maximise chances of progression to next stage
- Encourages teams' in-depth understanding of contractual and commercial terms with knowledge of what is acceptable to organization's Global Talent with an ability to negotiate contracts with clients at a senior level
Account Management :
- Manages key strategic client relationships where required on designated accounts, ensuring client and contractor issues are addressed to identify opportunities, improvements and growth on accounts.
- Acts as a reliable escalation point of contact for major client escalation matters
- Closely works with MCs and RMs to identify and align specific clients to team members for account management
- Maximises expansion of existing accounts across new disciplines, new sectors and new territories/markets
- Full understanding of payroll and invoicing procedures; acting as escalation point for credit control and debt control issues that may arise
Team Management :
- Demonstrates responsibility for manpower planning within their teams, working closely with MCs and RMs to ensure alignment of their recruitment teams' structures with business volume and client interface, whilst fully understanding the requirements to have discipline-specific recruiters in chosen sectors
- Closely works with senior team members to review employee performance against set objectives, understanding when to adjust outputs as necessary so they are specific to employee's performance and career development needs
- Ability to develop talent by effectively training and coaching their teams to drive career progression and performance to a 5- level
- Interacts regularly with team on KPIs, recruitment activity, desk plans, contractor retention and business development
- Works closely with MCs and RMs to drive business development opportunities through monitoring team performance in placement and BD target achievement to realise growth within the Operation
- Strongly enforces quality standards and adherence to procedures and processes for Bullhorn, pay rolling, invoicing, GP recording and bonus
- Ensures their teams are fully compliant through Client Standard Reviews by liaising closely with the Assignment Support and Commercial teams
- Drives and reviews operational reward & recognition programs
- Oversees performance issues within the team and supports MCs and RMs in implementing any formal processes in line with best practice
- Advocates values and office culture, through coordinating team building activities and social event
Key Performance Indicators :
- Achieving GP budgeted figures and EBITDA figures each month relevant to the scope & size of the team and client base
- Achieving 100% compliance on monthly audits
