Director - Quality - Pharma

The client is a Global Pharma Giant with presence across multi locations world-wide, their customers span the globe, staffed by over 2,800 employees, they operate in 10 manufacturing locations ensuring they can get product to all corners of the world.

We are looking for a Director – Quality for their Manufacturing set up in Gurgaon. The brief profile is as below:

Job Title : Director Quality

Preferred Qualification : M.Sc./M Pharma

Functional Skills required for job : The position needs excellent understanding of all the Quality processes, nuances that need to be implemented in similar Industry. Ability to handle pressure, train personnel and build a high quality Organisation

Preferred Experience in years : 14-16 Yrs

Responsibilities & Accountabilities :

- Responsible to prepare a strategic long term plan on how Quality will be handled at the company.

- Responsible to translate all the relevant Global Quality standards into the Organisation.

- Responsible to build a strong team of professionals and ability to lead them to ensure that all facets of quality, like Assurance, Control, documentation, Vendor Audits, Customer Audits are handled with required rigour.

- Champion the cause of quality within the Organisation, by continuously seeking ways to increase awareness on benefit of high quality across the Organisation.

- Build rapport with Production and line functions so that they see Quality as an enabling function, and at the same time ensure that there is no compromise on quality.

- Manage Quality budget and optimize

Key Performance Indices:

- All product going out of the company is as per agreed quality standards

- Training on Quality – Man-days per year

- Customer /Regulatory/ Global Quality Audit no major observations..

Location: Gurgaon
