Who is an Ideal Candidate?.

- We are seeking a professional for the role of Head of Quality with a solid educational background in Mechanical, Production, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering from a reputable institution.

- The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in Medical Product Manufacturing or Systems, demonstrating a robust track record of 8 to 12years in quality management roles.

- They must have meticulous attention to detail and a proactive approach to ensuring quality standards are met throughout the product lifecycle.

- Exceptional communication skills are essential for liaising with stakeholders and presenting detailed reports to executives.

- Proficiency in SAP and MS Office is required for data analysis and reporting.

- Certification in quality control standards such as ISO 9000 would be highly advantageous.

- The candidate should exhibit strong leadership capabilities to oversee and mentor the quality control team, driving continuous improvement and adherence to quality control procedures.

Position Description:

Grade: MM1

Years of Experience: 10 to 15 years.

Education: Degree in Mechanical/Production/Electrical/Electronics Engineering from a reputed college with experience in Medical Product Manufacturing / Systems.

Responsibilities:

- Understand customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes.

- Define component level selection at the design stage.

- Set up component testing parameters.

- Devise and review specifications for products or processes.

- Set requirements for raw materials or intermediate products for suppliers and monitor their compliance.

- Oversee all product development procedures to identify deviations from quality standards.

- Inspect final output and compare properties to requirements.

- Keep accurate documentation and perform statistical analysis.

- Solicit feedback from customers to assess whether their requirements are met.

- Submit detailed reports to appropriate executives.

- Look out for opportunities for improvement and develop new efficient procedures.

- Investigate root causes of defects and recommend solutions for quality issues.

- Onboard and train new quality control team members.

Requirements & Skills:.

- Proven experience as a quality manager.

- 10 to 15 years of quality management experience.

- Conscientious and responsible.

- A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach.

- Outstanding communication skills.

- Good SAP knowledge.

- Proficient in MS Office.

- In-depth understanding of quality control procedures and standards.

- Certification in quality control is a strong advantage (ISO 9000 etc.

The expected CTC should not exceed 20-25% of a hike from the current CTC and must be within the budget.

The incumbent is expected to drive the quality process for the entire instrumentation business.

They should be able to drive QC/QA processes for Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/NABL/ISO
