We are looking to hire a Director for Public Policy.&nbsp; Basic Function / Job Responsibilities : - Drive policy initiatives focused on - Data, Privacy, Ethics, Competition, Intermediary liability, and Internet governance. - Represent Organization with government, regulators, and industry leaders. - Strong individual contribution and an ability to collaborate effectively with industry members, think tanks, research firms, consulting, and law firms to build&nbsp;robust policy views, submissions, and discussion/position papers. This position is for a fix term contract of two years which can be extended subject to mutual agreement. Knowledge, Skills and Traits : - Demonstrated knowledge and experience in at-least some of the focus areas described above. - Published research/ policy papers, blogs, opinion articles in reputed publications. - Excellent public speaking and ability to translate write in concise and easy to understand abilities in English. Self-motivated and an ethical mindset. - Experience Minimum seven years of relevant work experience. - Total work experience of up-to 15 years. - Experience of working with policy think tanks, law firms or member of Parliament is desirable. Qualification : Master of laws or post graduate qualifications in public&nbsp;policy or economics.
