Objective of the role:

To build a completely new catastrophe risk management platform and application suite to address the needs of insurers and reinsurers to fully operationalize the catastrophe risk management process within their overall business processes and enterprise architecture. The system will provide actionable business intelligence to help analysts and managers understand, underwrite, and optimize catastrophe risk, facilitated by best-in-class visualization, analytics, and advanced decision support that will dramatically leapfrog existing solutions. This system will be enterprise class, high performance, highly scalable, and distributed, making use of best-of-breed, industry-leading technology as well as our proprietary, industry-leading analytics. The Program Manager will play a key role in coordinating, driving and tracking our Data development agenda, ensuring transparency and rigor by following our existing processes used by our California and London teams.

Key Accountabilities & Deliverables:

- You"ll be expected to ask tough questions, get deep into the work and manage delivery of our ambitious data agenda.

Responsibilities

- Work with project leads to ensure each approved project has well-articulated plans that ensure on-time quality delivery

- Track progress on the plans and manage the risks through weekly Risk and Mitigation (RAM) meetings

- Coordinate and communicate with internal customers and external customers and third-party partners as needed to set and manage expectations, highlight and resolve issues, and ensure an overall excellent experience working with the teams.

- Manage team communication across multiple geographical locations.

- Communicate progress to the entire team and the rest of the organization.

- Serve as a single point of contact for all project status items.

- Track all Noida development resources and ensure all new projects are approved through our project approval process.

Experience Required:

Requirements

- Desire to be on a highly productive, fast-paced team 15+ years of software/data project management experience, including at least three complete enterprise product release cycles Black belt in standard project management practices and procedures

- Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail, strong follow-through, and ability to use analysis to drive decisions

- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and ability to build relationships and collaborate with variety of personalities and styles

- Proven track record of managing component projects within a larger program or integrated product suite, with complex upstream and downstream dependencies

- Proven experience managing complex projects to successful completion including the ability to navigate complex environments and work with interdisciplinary teams and effectively communicate priorities, delivery expectations, risks and concerns to senior management

- Proven track record of handling multiple projects simultaneously

- Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines imposed by rapid business growth, including the ability to multi-task and juggle many competing priorities and deadlines

- Experience designing and implementing new processes, as well as improving existing ones Proactive, collaborative work style and can-do attitude BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering or Math, or a related field degree required.

Desirable:

- Insurance & reinsurance domain experience
