Director - Product Owner with Leading UK based Fintech
- This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated and visionary product owner to help define and implement next generation customer service in a cutting-edge Fintech environment. This position requires you to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams to design, build and roll-out products that deliver on the company's Customer Service Operations (COPS) vision and strategy.
- The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of best-in-class customer service experience in banking / financial services (BFSI), the technologies / systems / processes required to enable this, and an internal drive to aggressively execute on an identified product roadmap.
- The Sr. Product Manager needs to understand and help define the vision of fintech customer service and should lead the design and development of back-end & customer support systems that are (1) compliant with UK regulations, (2) loved by customers and (3) - make life really easy- for Fintech's service support agents.
- The Director Product owner is also responsible for maintaining a roadmap that ensures all critical COPS metrics are highly available and accurate at all times.
Skills and Experience :
- BE/B.Tech from Tier 1 institute. MBA is a plus.
- At least 6 years experience working in a Product Management role in a technology-focused customer support environment
- Proven ability to write detailed, specific, and clear product requirement documents/6-pagers that identify business challenges and technical & business changes required to address them
- Prior experience and track record of building successful business products using data, customer feedback, regulatory feedback, cross-functional feedback and common sense
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely across execs, technology and the business teams
- Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
- Ability to develop product strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job
- Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies. Good understanding of technology, language and applications with special focus on the landscape of customer support systems
- Demonstrated working experience within an Agile methodology and utilizing agile practices
- Proven experience in mentoring or managing people.
