Location: Chennai

We are looking for a Director - Product Marketing who "will be the product for the market and the market for the product". We are looking for an ambitious product marketer who can collaborate across functions, and own the story of the product. The ideal candidate will be a good communicator, will be analytical, and will be able to articulate the value proposition of the product to the market through innovative and compelling deliverables such as messaging, marketing collaterals, sales materials and thought leadership content. They will also act as the market intelligence for the product team, ensuring the product stays ahead of the market and competition.

You will be responsible for

- Product Positioning and Messaging: Develop and refine product positioning and messaging that effectively communicates the unique value of our products to various customer segments.

- Go-to-Market Strategy: Create and execute go-to-market plans for new product launches, working cross-functionally with product management, sales, and marketing teams.

- Market Research: Conduct in-depth market research to identify customer needs, competitive landscapes, and market trends. Use this information to inform product development and marketing strategies.

- Content Creation: Lead the development of high-quality marketing content, including product collateral, whitepapers, case studies, videos, and webinars.

- Sales Enablement: Collaborate with the sales team to provide them with the tools and resources they need to effectively sell our products. This includes training materials, presentations, and competitive intelligence.

- Product Evangelism: Serve as a product evangelist by representing out industry events, webinars, and conferences. Build relationships with industry influencers and thought leaders. Speaking and presenting both internally and externally to promote the story of our product.

- Customer Insights: Gather and analyze customer feedback to refine product positioning, features, and pricing strategies.

- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product management, engineering, and sales teams to ensure alignment on product goals and strategies. Planning the launches of new product features, and managing the cross-functional implementation of the launch plan

- Budget Management: Manage the product marketing budget efficiently to achieve desired outcomes.

- Establishing individual and team metrics and reporting on success

You're someone who:

- 10+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably in the B2B SaaS or technology industry.

- Proven track record of successful product launches and marketing campaigns.

- Strong analytical skills to assess market trends, competition, and customer insights.

- Has strong communication, both written and verbal, skills.

- Can develop, organize, and maintain process documentation.

- Can create, update, and maintain training documents.

- Has exceptional project management skills.

- Prefers working in a collaborative, cross-team capacity.

- Can effectively prioritize and manage your time to address multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, professional environment.

- Is metrics-driven and analytical; proven ability to prioritize, drive, and achieve results through self and others
