Director - Product Management - Internet/Online

We are looking for an experienced PM to join our team in the role of Director of Product. The

Director of Product will be the user's voice on the table and lead orgzn's zero to one journey for an exciting new product. The Director of Product will be responsible for defining the product vision, and work closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and support to execute that vision in a way that feels inspired and magical.

The ideal person

- Has at least 4+ years of experience in product management / leading a business

- Has prior experience of a zero to one journey

- Gets a kick out of solving problems

- Is an effective communicator who is able to rally a team behind a cause

- Has a demonstrable track record of user focus and data-backed decision making

- Has past experience of building a product team from the ground up

- Is optimistic, resilient, and open to new ideas and ways of working

Within three months you will

- Develop an in-depth understanding of our users and product

- Conduct extensive user research related to the new product

- Define the product vision and layout the development and experimentation roadmap

- Put together the product team comprising of designers, engineers, educators, and data scientists

- Define your toolbox and processes for rapid experimentation

Within six months you will

- Oversee the roll-out of the first version of the product

- Conduct extensive experimentation to arrive at a PMF

- Define the business model, business plan, and the monetisation roadmap

Within twelve months you will

- Define and execute the go to market strategy

- Be the chief evangelist for the product within the teacher community

- Scale up the team to execute against the business plan
