Director - Product Engineering

Functional Responsibilities :

- Responsible for the delivery excellence delivery planning and execution with high level of predictability, productivity & quality

- High level of stakeholder/customer satisfaction is the key outcome expected.

- Responsible for the successful evolution of the division refining the long-term vision & strategy ensuring continuous transformation of the group

- Responsible for building/managing a strong, high potential, highly motivated, vibrant, innovative talent group in an highly effective lean organization

- Responsible for building strong competences in all areas of technology, functional, domain and business areas.

- Responsible for innovations products, process, etc., Showcasing innovations through patents, white papers, participations in hackathons etc.

- Active participation and contributions in organization building activities across divisions

- Responsible for a good collaboration with all the peers, stakeholders spread out globally R&D, product management, sales & marketing

- Responsible for contributing to the organizational evolution at Bengaluru across the lab beyond the hospitality division

- Solutions include User end Applications, Middleware &/or Backend products/components

Technical & functional Skill :

- A strong software development background in building enterprise distributed systems using technologies - C++, JAVA/J2EE of at least 5 years as a developer & manager

- Strong in technology and architectural aspects

- Strong in Software Engineering disciplines like Clean Code, Unit Testing, CI/CD etc

- Proven background on managing teams of Managers, Sr. Managers, architects and high talents

- Ability to mentor team and guide them to identify solutions.

- Experience of technical leadership highly desirable

- High level of maturity in delivery management in terms of project planning, execution, quality and reporting & stake holder expectation management.

- Experience in product development life cycle preferably using Agile Methodologies.
