Director - Product Engineering

Will be Accountable for strategic, managerial and budgetary responsibilities associated with the Product and IT leadership role. The individual is expected to have a strong technology background with clear understanding of Product management, engineering, infrastructure, software and cloud services, product development and agile methodology. He/she will work closely with global teams, including Sales, Product, Implementation Engineering and Operations to ensure efficient and effective delivery of products at all times. The ideal candidate will have a strong captive background with passion and a proven track record of thorough understanding of Product Management and Engineering and IT paradigms.

- Bachelor's degree ideally in Computer Science Engineering or Information Technology.

- 15+ years of experience in Engineering, leading the delivering complex product/services and software solutions.

- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment and effectively use time and resources to deliver products and software solutions.

- Experience of working in matrix IT development & engineering environment.

- Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong stakeholder management abilities across the globe. Ability to interface, influence, innovate and drive the initiatives to conclusion.

- Work in dynamic environment, ability to adopt and embrace changes and guide the teams to deliver in rapidly changing business landscape.

- Out of the box thinker - must be key driver contributing to the products roadmap and willing to take innovative product risk while balancing the road map for on time deliverables.

- Experienced at delivering Infrastructure & SW solutions involving all elements of the stack, network, storage, compute and applications/databases.

- Experience with Engineering Product integrating of cloud, infrastructure, storage, recovery and managed services domains.

- Experience in design, architecture, coding/implementation of software systems, software defined infrastructure systems.

- Clear understanding Hybrid IT Technologies, including major aspects of public clouds such as AWS and Azure and technologies VMware and Openstack.

- Clear understanding of various aspects of VMware technologies, their interrelationship and extension into cloud framework.

- Good understanding of OpenStack framework, its components and delivering cloud orchestration and management using the same.

- Understanding of various Oracle ERP modules, their interdependency, functional capabilities.

- Exposure to Java based development methodology and integration technologies such as MuleSoft. Familiarity with data warehousing, extraction and reporting domains.

- Understanding of Cloud enabled software development, APIs, frameworks, automation, UI development, technical aspects of enterprise applications such as SAP, HANA, Oracle, Sales Force, Data Warehousing and IT ecosystems technologies.

- Clear understanding of agile methodology such as Scrum/Kanban, testing, quality engineering, test automation, CI/CD.
