Director - Product Development - Electricals/Semiconductors

Responsibilities :

- Drive the entire product development and R&D process, both internally and externally.

- Source vendors and negotiate for the cost-effective purchase of raw materials.

- Achieve product assortment goals while ensuring product quality, testing standards, and margin expectations are met.

- Recruit and manage teams to develop industry-leading products.

- Work closely with sales to understand customer directives, analyze sales data, and review new product forecasts.

Requirements :

- 10+ years of product development experience.

- Technical expertise in sensors, IoT, and electronics and comfortable with technical aspects of product development and communicating with engineering teams.

- Comfortable with the Chinese vendor ecosystem.

- Passion for connected wearables.
